Community led child protection and women\u2019s leadership in Banspal Block<\/strong><\/p>

TRESHA (Tribal Empowerment through Self-Help Approach), implemented by WOSCA with Kindernothilfe in 15 villages of Banspal Block, revitalised 52 dormant SHGs by reintroducing regular savings, bookkeeping, and federation meetings.\u00a0Economic interventions enabled 25 SHGs to access \u20b918 lakhs in formal credit, while 125 women began earning after livelihood trainings in tailoring, goatry and NTFP processing.\u00a0Five women led micro-enterprises were launched, demonstrating how\u00a0collective savings and\u00a0federation governance can seed local value chains and strengthen household resilience.<\/p>

The project strengthened child-protection and governance systems through village safety mapping, revitalised CBCPCs with 120 trained members, and youth collectives that improved ICDS service delivery and THR distribution.\u00a0TRESHA re-enrolled 87 out-of-school children (52 girls), reduced child-protection referral response time by 40% and helped Village Development Committees in all 15 villages integrate child rights into local planning.\u00a0SHG meeting attendance rose from 32% to 86%, public-scheme access increased from 47% to 79%, and girls\u2019 dropout rates fell from 23% to 9%, showing measurable shifts in accountability and access.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
