WOSCA facilitated a Maternity Waiting Home (Maa Gruha) from 2013 to 2024 at harichandanpur block to improve access to quality maternal and child health services across rural communities. The initiative promotes institutional delivery, safe motherhood, and reduced infant and maternal mortality.<\/p>

Awareness meetings and counselling sessions have strengthened community knowledge on MNCH services, while mothers staying at the centre receive nutritious food, health counselling, and recreational support. there are 5059 mothers delivered thier babies with active support from Maa Gruha.<\/p>

The programme has enhanced maternal health awareness, encouraged institutional deliveries, and provided safe, supportive care for mothers and newborns, contributing to healthier families and stronger grassroots health systems.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Food and nutritional support for tribal, poor and vulnerable women residing in Banspal<\/strong><\/p>

With support from Give\u2011India Foundation under the ICRF Humanitarian Support Programme, WOSCA provided cooked lunch boxes and counselling services to 300 tribal, marginalized, destitute, disabled, and poor women across 20 villages in Banspal block of Keonjhar. For three days each week over nine months, women received nutritious meals alongside guidance on health and hygiene practices.<\/p>

The initiative alleviated hunger among vulnerable women in remote areas, promoted better nutrition and hygiene awareness, and prevented extreme deprivation. By combining food support with counselling, the programme strengthened resilience and dignity among marginalized communities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
