Facilitation of youth development activities through Biju Yuva Vahini project as the District Programme Management Unit in 5 districts of Odisha with the support of Department of Sports & Youth Services, Govt. of Odisha<\/strong><\/p>

With the support of the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha, WOSCA facilitated the formation of 1,710 youth clubs across 68 blocks and 19 urban local bodies, mobilizing 62,068 volunteers. Together, they planted 2.31 lakh trees in schools, colleges, and village commons across five districts, sensitized 2 lakh families on dengue, diarrhoea, and other communicable diseases, and facilitated awareness on KALIA schemes, reaching 2.2 lakh families.<\/p>

The programme also engaged 42,000 youths in sports and cultural functions and mobilized 45,000 youths in social action campaigns such as anti\u2011liquor drives, Clean India, and Plastic\u2011Free Odisha.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
