Integrated Watershed Development Programme (IWMP) Batch-IV supported by Odisha Watershed Development Mission, Govt. Of Odisha and implemented at Anandapur block .
WOSCA implemented a water and land management project (IWMP) in Anandapur block covering 19 villages and 5,643 hectares of land. The project built important facilities like repaired ponds, well platforms, bathing rooms, drying yards, drainage systems, roads, and community centers. Communities attended meetings to plan these works together. At the same time, the project organized health camps, vaccination drives, and career guidance sessions to improve people’s health and skills.
As a result, villages now have better water access, clean sanitation, good roads, and strong community centers. Women’s groups and village leaders received training on government benefits, animal care, and income opportunities. Families became healthier and more skilled, communities learned to use water and land wisely, and villages became stronger and more self-reliant..
