We are a community-driven organization empowering marginalized groups through education, healthcare, livelihood, and advocacy efforts.
Founded on December 20, 1993, the Women’s Organization for Socio-Cultural Awareness (WOSCA) is a dedicated voluntary organization committed to uplifting underserved communities, with a special focus on women, children, and the elderly. Registered under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 (1993-94) and FCRA (2000), WOSCA has spent the last 30 years making a meaningful impact in social development sectors, including governance & livelihood, health & education, women & child empowerment, and environmental & cultural preservation.
Through strategic community engagement, we bridge the gap between government initiatives and grassroots needs, mobilizing people for self-sustaining development. Our approach includes:
✔ Convergent planning for government schemes
✔ Strengthening local institutions, including women’s SHGs
✔ Facilitating access to public benefits and entitlements
✔ Leveraging technology for smarter, more effective outreach
With a direct reach of 1.4 lakh families, WOSCA is more than an organization—it is a movement dedicated to creating opportunities, fostering resilience, and driving lasting change in communities.
We envision an inclusive, empowered society where all individuals thrive with dignity. Our mission is to foster sustainable development through education, healthcare, livelihood support, and gender equality, ensuring lasting social transformation.
A society full of peace, joy and happiness where there will be no poverty, ignorance, diseases, suffering, hunger, exploitation, injustice, and which will be saturated with solidarity, integrity, fraternity, nationality, non-discrimination, brotherhood and prosperity.
Transformation of thoughts into deeds through people’s participatory actions, people’s organizations, participatory learning and working together for human resource management.
WOSCA is grateful for the generous support of our esteemed donors who help drive impactful change. Their contributions enable us to empower communities, support sustainable development, and uplift lives. Together, we create a better future for women, children, and marginalized groups.
