Governance and livelihood initiatives are deeply interconnected.

Access to quality education and healthcare is essential for building strong, self-sufficient communities.

Governance and livelihood work are interrelated.

Strong communities thrive when women and youth are equipped with the right opportunities.
WOSCA has undertaken impactful projects that promote sustainable development, social empowerment, and community resilience. Through governance initiatives, transparent operations, and direct grassroots engagement, we strive to uplift marginalized communities and create lasting change.

Our volunteers are the heart of our mission. Their dedication and passion drive meaningful change in the communities we serve. Here’s what they have to say about their experiences.
"Earlier, we were scared to step out, and even our husbands did not allow us to participate. We formed self-help groups but only took loans for household needs, which left us burdened. After WOSCA’s training, we now generate income together, manage resources wisely, and no longer depend on outside loans. Most importantly, we know our rights and where to go if we face difficulties. Today, we feel confident, independent, and respected in our community."
"Previously, in the Anganwadi my daughter only received a boiled egg, sttu, and basic learning. After WOSCA’s support, she now enjoys nutritious meals, caring teachers, and focused studies. For us, English-medium education was once a dream, but today I can see a bright future for my daughter."
"In our village there is no proper communication or facilities. We belong to the Juang community, and to reach the hospital we must cross the jungle for 1.5 km before we can even connect with anyone. Earlier, this made us fearful about childbirth. But because of WOSCA’s support, I had a safe delivery and my baby is healthy. For us, this has brought hope and relief in a place where healthcare once felt unreachable."
