Combating Child Domestic Labor (CCDL)

Combating Child Domestic Labour (CCDL) Project supported by Plan-India and implemented in Keonjhar

Since 2012, WOSCA, with support from Plan India, facilitated an integrated programme to improve child survival, health, nutrition, sanitation, protection, and livelihoods in Keonjhar.

The initiative combined health education, WASH interventions, livelihood support, and child protection awareness to strengthen families and communities. Frontline workers were capacitated, mothers and adolescents gained health and nutrition knowledge, communities accessed safe water and sanitation, families diversified livelihoods, and child protection systems were strengthened.

The programme contributed to healthier children, empowered families, and resilient communities.
