Forest Rights Act (FRA) Facilitation for NRM-Based Livelihoods in Telkoi Block

Facilitation of Forest Rights Act (FRA) as NRM based livelihood programme in Telkoi block covering 3004 families with the support from OXFAM-India.

WOSCA implemented a forestry‑based livelihood project in 20 villages of Telkoi block, Kendujhar, while also expanding advocacy efforts across Odisha. The project promoted community forest rights under FRA, convergence of livelihood support for IFR landholders, and capacity building of communities and stakeholders. District‑level networks such as Zilla Jungle Manch were formed, and exposure visits of FRC members to Mayurbhanj showcased NTFP‑based livelihood models and cross learning.
