Nutritional Rehabilitation Centres: Restoring Health & Hope for Malnourished Children
WOSCA, in collaboration with NHM and DMF, has successfully implemented Nutritional Rehabilitation Centres (NRCs) across Barbil, Telkoi, Harichandanpur, Andapur, and Udaypur to address the critical issue of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) among children. These centers serve as lifelines, offering clinical care, nutritional support, and psychosocial growth for children affected by SAM, especially those with medical complications.
Through this impactful program, WOSCA has empowered communities to combat child malnutrition, equipping families with the knowledge and resources to safeguard children’s health and reduce long-term vulnerabilities. The approach strengthens early childhood care, establishing a sustainable model that ensures children receive adequate nutrition, medical care, and developmental support—laying the foundation for a healthier future.
