About WOSCA

Women's Organization for Socio-Cultural Awareness (WOSCA) is a voluntary organization born on 20th December 1993 with the commitment to serve the under privileged people especially women, children and elderly. It is registered under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 in the year 1993-94 and under FCRA in the year 2000. WOSCA is having 30 years of experience in social development sectors i.e. governance & livelihood, health & education, women & child empowerment and preservation of environment & culture. WOSCA adopted strategies like convergent planning of government schemes, community mobilisation, strengthening village institutions including women SHGs, facilitation of public benefits and entitlements and use of technology. WOSCA has a direct reach to 1.4 lakhs families through its developmental projects.
