Financial Literacy and Awareness Programme (FLAP)

To facilitate financial inclusion through imparting knowledge to enable financial planning and improve the understanding on it WOSCA has been organizing GP & Block Level Financial Literacy and awareness Programmes in the remote parts of the district. Through this programme women, students, teachers are educated how the financial inclusion could be executed and carried out in a more planned and systematic way. This awareness programme has been proved very useful for Teachers and Students. It also breaks a number of myths (that the community women and school students had) including the major one that the Savings is designed for the high class people. Total 9 block level and 14 GP level awareness programme has been organized by WOSCA till now.
