WOSCA has promoted one Day Care cum Creche Centre with the facility for children of working women of nearby area at Gopalpur-Nishintpur village of Raghunathpur GP of Keonjhar Sadar block since 2000 with the kind support of Orissa State Social Welfare Advisory Board. Through the Creche Centre, we have supported 25 nos. of little children within 0-6 years with toys, nutrition food and play materials along with formal education facility. Besides, in the centre WOSCA conducted awareness sessions on illness management, balanced diet, importance of food and breast feeding with the members of the women's groups. Through Creche Centre, regular pre-school classes were run in the community for children who did not have access to a pre-school facility being run by the government or any other NGO. The classes are being provided school preparedness programs to the children and focused on the all round development and health care of these children.
